ALBANY, Ga. – It’s the season of giving and what better way to finish up the Christmas holiday than by giving the gift of life by donating blood. Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be holding a community blood drive on Thursday, December 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the main campus cafeteria solarium.

With the drive occurring the day after Christmas, many people will have family in town. This is an opportunity to come together as a family and give the gift of life!

Every person who donates will receive either a Starbucks gift card or meal ticket as well as a free long sleeve t-shirt from the American Red Cross. Also, if the goal of 100 units is met, each donor will be placed in a drawing to win a Kindle Fire courtesy of the American Red Cross.
